Wanted: Youth Dance Instructor

Arts Beyond the Classroom, Inc. is a non-profit organization designed to influence the expression of fine arts among the youth. Our primary focus is to promote awareness and education beyond the traditional classroom structure. Students will attain the essential concepts, tools, and work ethic to enrich their art, as well as their lives.

This program is currently offering visual art instruction classes for children ages 8 to 12 years old, from June 18-July 27,2012.

We are now seeking a dance instructor who has experience working with children ages 5 to 8 yrs. old. The emphasis of this program will be to encourage creative movement and fitness. Classes will begin mid-July/early August.

Welcome to Arts Beyond the Classroom

Greetings,

My name is Brittini V. Barnes and I am a co-founder of Arts Beyond the Classroom, along with my business partner Sam Braden IV.  Together we created the idea of A.B.C., because of our love and passion of the arts and education. I, myself am a Certified Culinarian who graduated with honors from Johnson & Wales University and Sam is a self-taught, Fine Artist from Nashville, TN.  Our experience in education is by way of teaching, tutoring, and/or coaching students in the Metro Nashville area.

As educators, we stand strong on our mission statement:

            “Arts Beyond the Classroom is dedicated to teaching and exposing youth to all forms of artistic expression.”  

Our team is dedicated to teaching, mentoring, and exposing the youth to all forms of art.  Art is a positive outlet for students to enhance and contribute to a healthy, creative, and innovative thought process to help ensure a bright future.
